Idego for Solo Cello (2006) by Liz Malys

This exciting new work by a young composer, stretches the melodic limits of the cello, utilizing the entire range. The piece explores the sometimes contradictory natures of our inner "Id" and "Ego," and definitely helps the cellist acheive a great singing range on his/her instrument.
